Web Developer
£35K – £40K (Remote)

Page 1 recruitment are excited to be working in partnership with a leading Creative and Digital Marketing Agency in the Northeast.  Due to their continued growth as an Agency, our client is currently looking to strengthen their Web Development Team!

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on multiple projects for various clients
  • Working with PHP-based CMS platforms
  • Developing custom built WordPress websites for a wide range of clients
  • Working closely with other developers as well as other departments in the business (design, creative etc)
  • Configuration of web servers and deployment systems using Apache/Nginx, MySQL.

Essential Skills

  • PHP
  • Working knowledge of Web APIs

WordPress Guru

  • Ability to create custom and responsive WordPress themes, layouts and templates.
  • Ability to design for Mobile, Tablet and Web
  • Building and customising WordPress plug-ins and modules.
  • Customising WordPress CMSs
