Bid Writer
£30K – £35K + Bonuses

We are excited to be working in partnership with a leading Digital Agency in the Northeast. As part of their growth plans, our client is currently on the lookout for an exceptional Bid writer to join their team. Working from their Head Office in Newcastle, this is a truly exciting opportunity to join a business that is known for investing in its staff. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a proven track record in putting together winning bids!

About the role:

  • Writing compelling and high-quality tender responses
  • Support the ongoing improvement and optimisation of the tender response content and processes
  • Improving the library of proposal materials and resources (be able to customise tenders and pitches with these resources)
  • Working closely with the Business Development team as well as different departments within the Agency
  • Analysing tender requirements
  • Conduct final copy editing and proofreading

About you:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can demonstrate effective bid writing skills
  • Experience working as a Bid Writer/Content Executive/Copywriter
  • Experience in tender proposal planning, writing, review and delivery
  • Preparing and managing the production of bids
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload
  • A wordsmith, with an extensive vocabulary

Nice to haves:

  • Experience of working in an agency environment
  • Some understanding of Digital Marketing and Web Development
  • Experience in writing tenders for both private and public sectors
  • Experience with Adobe design suite
