As their Odoo Administrator, you will step into one of the most important hires this company will make this year. Odoo is the engine at the heart of this business — driving stock management, finance, reporting, and operations across multiple subsidiaries and countries. You won’t just be maintaining a system; you will be owning it, shaping it, and making it work harder for a company doing genuinely meaningful work. About the role:

• Take full ownership of the Odoo ERP system across multiple subsidiaries, acting as the go-to expert for the entire business
• Ensure the stability, accuracy, and smooth day-to-day operation of the platform across international teams
• Serve as the central point of contact for all things Odoo — bridging Operations, Finance, Logistics, and country teams across Africa
• Maintain and improve system configuration, workflows, and processes to keep the business running at its best
• Drive data integrity across stock, finance, and reporting — giving the business the visibility it needs to make confident decisions
• Support the rollout of new modules and identify opportunities to bring additional business processes into Odoo over time
• Own supply chain data completeness, including in-transit stock and shipment pipeline visibility, in collaboration with the Operations team
• Support the development of operational dashboards and reporting tools for country teams across the continent
• Lead process automation initiatives and work alongside the Software Team to integrate Odoo with the wider data stack
• Act as the liaison with external developers and consultancies, escalating complex architectural needs where required

About you:

• Strong understanding of ERP systems in an operational environment
• Experience supporting users across multiple functions (e.g. stock, finance, operations)
• Ability to manage system configuration and workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Points

• Experience working with Odoo specifically (administrator, analyst, or similar role)
• Experience with supply chain or inventory management systems
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data analysis
• Exposure to system integrations or working alongside development teams
• Experience working across multiple countries or distributed teams

This is a field-based role where you’ll be the face of the company — visiting customers at home, listening to what they need, and providing tailored quotes that win business. About the Company
Our client is a trusted Sheffield-based business providing domestic and commercial removals, home clearances, and secure storage solutions. With a strong local reputation and a customer-first approach, the business is growing — and this role is central to that growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Visiting customers at home — or conducting virtual surveys — to assess their removal and storage needs and provide accurate, professional quotes
• Building genuine rapport and making sure customers feel informed and confident throughout
• Following up on quotes and enquiries to convert interest into confirmed bookings
• Representing the business with professionalism and pride on every visit
• Targeting and winning commercial contracts alongside domestic work, growing the business beyond one-off moves
• Working closely with the office team to ensure a seamless handover from sale to move day
• Covering customers primarily across Yorkshire, with travel a regular and expected part of the role
• Identifying opportunities to grow the business through referrals and repeat custom

What We’re Looking For

• A confident, personable communicator who thrives face-to-face
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience — removals industry knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement
• A self-motivated approach with the drive to follow through and close
• Strong attention to detail when assessing jobs and preparing quotes
• Full UK driving licence — essential (company car provided)
• Someone who takes pride in representing a business well and doing the job properly
